so funny story. Easton is potty trained, not sure if I announced this, it is a big deal. He's my first to go through it and I was terrified to even think about training him. It ended up being really easy. I waited until he was ready because I knew that if I forced him to do it, it would never happen (he's as stubborn as I am). Anyway, long story short. He was at preschool the other day (he goes with his cousin Brecken) and she had to go potty, so Easton of course told his teacher that he needed to go too. Why on earth she let the two of them go in the bathroom together.
alone.
unsupervised.
is beyond me. After being in there a while, Brecken comes out and she's had an accident, Easton had beaten her to the toilet. Then Easton bounces into his classroom bare naked and says, "Hello Everybody"! Man what I would have given to be there. Anyway, this picture was inspired by an incredible photographer Rebecca Mudrick. After I saw hers, I needed my own "honda" shot.

This is a classic look into my daily life.

This is from last weekend when we went up to the cabin with my husbands family. Easton and his cousin Sydney had just a tad bit fun playing in the sap speckled dirt. It was a bear to get them clean but they had fun. I guess that's all that matters sometimes. I constantly have to remind myself that its what kids do. There is nothing I hate more than having dirty kids. I really hate the grime and mess. I hate washing their clothes afterwards and the dirt that gets trailed into my house. It's my least favorite thing. Anyway, I guess my point is, I have to let my kids be kids sometimes. I need to let them splash in puddles when it rains, and dig for worms in the dirt, it's just a part of being a kid. I liked doing it, why wouldn't they? It's just something I have to get used to.

And a quick one of Molly, she loves talking on the phone. She puts it up to her ear like this and says, "HELLOOOOO, howr YOUUUU". It's got to be the cutest thing ever!
